Founded in 1974, Ragland Water Works provides water services to the community of Ragland, Alabama and vicinity. Ragland is a small town in Northeast St.Clair County in Alabama. This community was named for the owner of the Sims and Ragland Mining Company.
The Ragland Water Works Board was incorporated on March 28, 1974. The initial Board was incorporated by a body consisting of three members: Clyde Echols, Jesse Ford and Racille White.
